The Stephen Ministry Training Manual is the primary resource Stephen Ministers use during their 50 hours of initial training and the first 17 ½ hours of continuing education. The manual contains Preclass Readings as well as Outlines and Focus Notes that correspond to each training presentation in section T of the Stephen Series Leader’s Manual.
This two-volume spiral-bound resource provides Stephen Ministers with a solid understanding of the psychological and theological principles of Christian caregiving, a thorough grounding in the Christ-centered nature of Stephen Ministry, and hands-on skills they can use in their caring relationships and in all aspects of life.
