What It's Like to Work at Stephen Ministries
Joel Bretscher was working as a writer and graphic designer for a computer graphics company in Arizona, but he wanted more meaning in his work. His experience as a Stephen Minister led him to explore working for Stephen Ministries. He joined the Stephen Ministries team in 1995 and quickly earned the respect of his coworkers. Since 1998 he has been leading the marketing and public relations areas as Director of Communications.
Rev. David Paap was a parish pastor for ten years, but he wanted to reach even more people. At Stephen Ministries, he found a niche where he could use his gifts of administration and leadership along with his creative and writing skills. He is the Program Director and has taught at more than 400 training conferences.
