Our Mother of Sorrows Parish in Tucson, Arizona, celebrated 15 years of Stephen Ministry. During that time, the parish's Stephen Ministers have provided emotional and spiritual care to over 1,000 hurting people in the parish and community.
Msgr. Tom Cahalane, who was instrumental in bringing Stephen Ministry to Our Mother and has been a key supporter of the ministry over the years, says, "Stephen Ministry is a great gift within our parish community, a gift of compassionate outreach to those who are experiencing painful transition in their lives."
