The Stephen Ministry Training Video Collection is a set of four videos that are an integral part of Stephen Minister training. The videos contain important information that reinforces and augments what trainees learn through reading, lecture, practice, and discussion. The videos allow Stephen Leaders to "bring in the experts" to provide crucial training on the important topics of supervision and mental health, demonstrate key skills, and provide an added dimension to the training.

Stephen Ministry and Mental Health Issues is an engaging Leader's Training Course presentation that provides highlights of what Stephen Ministers, Stephen Leaders, pastors, and mental health professionals need to know about Stephen Ministry, its limits, and when a care receiver needs to be referred to a mental health professional. (56 minutes)
Stephen Ministry Small Group Peer Supervision: A Demonstration features a "live" Supervision Group that demonstrates the proven and effective Stephen Ministry model for Small Group Peer Supervision. Seeing supervision in action helps Stephen Ministers grasp their Preclass Reading more quickly, practice supervision skills in class more effectively, and get the most from their supervision sessions. (52 minutes)
Focus on Specific Supervision Skills integrates shorter segments of the Stephen Ministry Small Group Peer Supervision: A Demonstration video with the teaching presentation that Stephen Leaders have in their Leader's Manual. This makes it easy for Stephen Leaders to identify and illustrate key skills and for Stephen Minister trainees to observe and then practice specific supervision skills. In addition to being used in Stephen Minister training, Focus on Specific Supervision Skills is also used in training Supervision Group Facilitators. (23 minutes)
Follow Me is shown in the training session just prior to commissioning and inspires Stephen Ministers to follow Jesus in their caregiving journey.
