Beth primarily worked on writing and editing tasks, taking on such diverse responsibilities as proofreading Dr. Haugk's newest book, writing articles on Journeying through Grief and other resources, and researching a video project. She said, "I was drawn to it first and foremost because it was nonprofit. Plus it's Christian, so everything here is part of a bigger mission."

"I remember that at one point in the interview, Dr. Haugk asked me, 'Are you a nice person?'" she said. "That's neat. It really lets you know what's important to the organization. It's great that I'm doing something that has meaning. I really like that it's focused on ministry and helping people."
